Pick Which Terms of Use
Last revised: November 8, 2026
Who we are
Pick Which is a trivia game operated by Robert Anderson in Ontario, Canada (“we”, “us”). You can contact us at rob@decktrue.com. By downloading, installing or playing Pick Which, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
For iOS app licensing, Apple’s standard End User License Agreement applies. These terms describe gameplay and related services without limiting your mandatory consumer rights.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Pick Which for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You must not:
- cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, scripts or modified versions of the game to gain an advantage;
- tamper with, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the game, its advertising, or any related service, except where the law permits it;
- disrupt the service, attempt to access it in unauthorized ways, or manipulate rewards or balances;
- use nicknames or other content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes the rights of others.
We may restrict access to features if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.
Trivia content
We work to make clues and answers accurate, but trivia can contain mistakes, simplifications or information that changes over time. The game is provided for entertainment and is not a source of professional or factual advice. If you spot an error, email the matchup name, clue and suggested correction to rob@decktrue.com. We may correct, change or remove content at our discretion.
Progress and access
Players can play without creating a conventional registered account. Technical player or install identifiers may still be used. Account-free play does not mean that no data is processed; see the Privacy Policy.
Deleting the app, clearing app data, changing devices, or device failure may affect saved progress. Do not assume that progress or virtual-item balances can be transferred between devices or platforms.
Gems and unlock credits
Gems and matchup unlock credits are virtual in-game items without cash value. They cannot be traded between players, exchanged for money or redeemed outside the game. Gems provide in-game currency for the uses shown in the game. Each unlock credit permanently unlocks a selected matchup: access is ongoing, not limited to a single round. This does not establish cross-device transfer. Purchased currency does not expire merely through the passage of time. Pick Which has no subscriptions or cash prizes.
Purchases
Pick Which initially releases on iOS; Android is in development. Purchases include gems, matchup unlock credits and Remove Ads. Gem purchases supply the quantity shown on the purchase screen; credit purchases supply the number of matchup unlock credits shown. Remove Ads removes banners and automatic interstitials, not optional rewarded videos. The store purchase screen supplies the applicable price. Review the product description and price before confirming. Apple handles payment authorization; RevenueCat supports purchase and entitlement processing.
Store purchases are subject to the relevant store’s payment terms and refund process. If an item does not appear after a purchase, contact rob@decktrue.com with your app version, device and operating system, item purchased, and transaction reference. Never send passwords or full payment details.
Apple’s Restore Purchases process applies to eligible non-consumable purchases, such as Remove Ads, using the Apple Account that originally purchased them. Consumable purchases are not restored through Apple’s standard restoration process. Contact rob@decktrue.com about missing remaining balances or purchase access, including the product name and transaction reference. Do not assume that progress, gems, unlock credits or unlocked matchups automatically transfer between devices.
For Apple purchases, request a refund through Apple’s refund request page. These terms do not exclude refunds or other remedies available under applicable consumer law.
Advertising
Pick Which includes banner ads, interstitial ads, and optional rewarded videos. Rewarded videos are optional; the reward offered is shown in the game. If an expected reward is missing, report it to Support with the approximate time and what happened.
Remove Ads removes banner ads and automatic interstitial ads. Optional rewarded videos remain available by the player’s choice; Remove Ads does not remove those optional videos. Advertising data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
Younger players
Pick Which is intended for older teens and adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded or limited, including those in Ontario and your place of residence. To the extent permitted by law, the game is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the loss of device-stored progress or virtual items.
Changes to the game and these terms
We may update, change, suspend or discontinue features, subject to paid entitlements and mandatory consumer rights. Changes do not override your statutory rights or eliminate purchased entitlements merely because a feature changes. We may also revise these terms and provide notice where required; the date above identifies the latest revision.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights of your place of residence.
