Pick Which Privacy Policy
Last revised: November 8, 2026
Who operates Pick Which
Robert Anderson, Ontario, Canada, operates the Pick Which app and website. DeckTrue supplies our contact email domain. For support, privacy questions, or requests to access, correct or delete your information, email rob@decktrue.com.
This policy describes Pick Which for iOS. Android is in development. Our target markets are Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia.
Gameplay, settings and player information
You can play without creating a conventional registered account. Account-free play does not mean anonymous use or that no personal data is processed. Technical player or install identifiers may be used to associate gameplay, wallet and purchase information with a player or installation.
The game uses nicknames, scores, progress, gems, unlock credits and matchup access. Some settings and gameplay information are saved locally on your device. Backend functionality, including the player wallet, is supported by Supabase; not all information stays on your device.
A nickname does not need to identify you. Avoid putting your real name, contact details or other personal information in it.
Purchases and entitlements
Purchases include gems, matchup unlock credits and Remove Ads. Pick Which has no subscriptions or cash prizes, and virtual items cannot be redeemed for cash.
Apple handles payment authorization and payment-card details. RevenueCat supports Apple in-app purchases and purchase-related records. Purchase processing can involve product identifiers, transaction references, technical player identifiers, purchase status and entitlements to deliver items, maintain balances, validate access and investigate purchase issues.
Please do not send full payment-card details or passwords to us. For a purchase issue, email rob@decktrue.com with the product name and transaction reference.
Advertising and rewards
Google AdMob provides banners, interstitial ads and optional rewarded videos. Remove Ads removes banners and automatic interstitials; optional rewarded videos remain available by your choice.
Depending on device permissions, region and applicable choices, Google's advertising software may process device or app identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address, ad interactions and technical information. Advertising and reward processing supports ad delivery, measurement, reward handling, security and fraud prevention.
Account-free play and purchasing Remove Ads do not mean that no data is processed. Optional rewarded videos still involve advertising processing when you choose to use them.
Support communications
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments. We use these to respond, investigate gameplay, purchase or reward issues and handle privacy requests. Include only information relevant to your request; do not send passwords, full payment details or unnecessary identity documents.
Purposes of processing
Information is used to operate gameplay, remember settings, maintain progress and wallets, deliver purchases and matchup access, provide advertising and optional rewards, prevent misuse, resolve issues and respond to requests.
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, processing may rely on providing a requested service, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the game, legal obligations or consent where required.
Providers and international handling
Supabase supports backend player and wallet functionality. Apple and RevenueCat support purchase and entitlement processing. Google AdMob supports advertising and rewards. Email service providers process support communications. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety or security.
Providers may process information outside your country, where privacy protections may differ. Their privacy notices supplement this explanation of our own practices; they do not replace it:
Retention and security
We retain player, gameplay and wallet information while needed to provide saved progress, balances, matchup access and related services. We assess whether records remain necessary when handling deletion requests, retiring features or reviewing inactive records.
Transaction and entitlement records may be retained as necessary to fulfil purchases, reconcile balances, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and meet applicable legal obligations. Support correspondence is retained while needed to address the request and associated follow-up or recordkeeping.
When personal information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it, subject to necessary legal retention and the backup arrangements of the relevant service. Removing the app or resetting local progress does not itself delete server records, transaction records or provider-held information.
To request deletion or ask about retention of your records, email rob@decktrue.com. We will explain any necessary retention exceptions when responding.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information handled. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose whether to watch optional rewarded videos and whether to purchase Remove Ads. Available device-level permissions and privacy settings are managed through your operating system.
Where processing relies on your consent, you can contact rob@decktrue.com to withdraw that consent or ask how to change your choices. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal. Purchasing Remove Ads is not a requirement for making a privacy request or withdrawing consent. Removing automatic ads does not itself delete information already held.
To request access, correction or deletion of your information, email rob@decktrue.com. We may need limited identifying information to locate the relevant player records and verify the request. Do not send identity documents unless a specific verification need has first been explained.
A local progress reset is not a request to delete server or provider-held records. A deletion request does not automatically initiate a purchase refund. For Apple purchase refunds, use Apple's refund request page.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including withdrawing consent where processing relies on it or complaining to your local privacy regulator. Requests about information independently held by a provider may also need to be addressed to that provider.
Younger players
Pick Which is intended for older teens and adults and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact rob@decktrue.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Changes and contact
We may revise this policy as features or practices change. The revision date above identifies the latest update. Additional notice or consent will be provided where required.
